As a follow up, to the extremely well reviewed Xperia C3, Sony technologies just confirmed the launch of the highly anticipated C4. The news came along just this week, when the mobile giant subtly transitioned into conforming the much circulated rumor! And as a "bonus", Sony revealed a dual-SIM variant which is supposedly called the "Xperia C4 dual". While details about the pricing were kept under bars, a later date for June, 2015 was confirmed to be its market release date. 

The smartphone will be available in White, Black, and Green.  While the C4 shares a very similar shape and design to its predecessor, it's well equipped with several new upgrades and features. It retains its elegance, with a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display, which is supported by the company's Bravia Engine 2. The Xperia C4 is powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core (Cortex-A53) MediaTek MT6752 processor paired with Mali-T760 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The Smartphone is speculated to be based on the popular Android v5.0 (Lollipop), utilizing the Operating System to its peak potential. 
The handset comes equipped a 13MP autofocus rear camera, with LED flash. And for all the "selfie lovers" out there, the Xperia C4 retains a 5MP front-facing camera and includes the Exmor R sensor alongside an LED flash and a 25mm wide-lense. Both of these cameras are layered upon, with features such as an image stabilizer and a red eye corrector. 

The Xperia C4 comprises a 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone packs a 2600mAh battery, which is expected to deliver up to 12 hours 47 minutes of talk time and up to 682 hours of standby time. 

The Xperia C4 weighs a mere 147 grams. It comprises of some common connectivity features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi with hotspot, 3G, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Micro-USB, DLNA, and NFC.
The smartphone is compatible with "more than 195 Sony NFC-enabled devices", including the SmartBand Talk (SWR30) and Stereo Bluetooth Headset (SBH60).
