Lenovo has come again into the market with a slightly more powerful variant of the known Lenovo A6000, the Lenovo A6000 Plus (dual-SIM) on Friday. The phone is quoted at Rs.7,499. Registrations are open now for the first flash sale of this smartphone via Flipkart.

Resembelance with Lenovo A6000

The Lenovo A6000 Plus is similar to the Lenovo A6000 besides featuring double the RAM, double the internal storage & the same 4G bands as the A6000, i.e., FDD 800MHz/1800MHz/2100MHz/2600MHz (Band 1,3,7,20), and TDD 2300MHz (Band 40). The Lenovo A6000 Plus is bundled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage while the A6000 has got 1GB RAM & 8GB internal storage. The Lenovo A6000 Plus measures & weighs the same as the A6000 i.e., 141x70x8.2mm and 128 grams.


The A6000 Plus is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC with Adreno 306 400MHz GPU and runs on the Android v4.4.4 (KitKat) with the Lenovo's Vibe UI 2.0 skin on top. It sports a 5 inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display and has got Dolby Digital Plus speakers.

The Lenovo A6000 Plus has got a 8MP auto-focus primary camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. The smartphone is backed by a 2300mAh battery that is expected to deliver up to 11 days of stand by time on 2G/3G, up to 22 hours of talk-time on 2G and up to 13 hours of talk-time on 3G.

The A6000 Plus is a great value for money device with cutting-edge technology and distinctive features".

Our Verdict!

The Lenovo A6000 Plus has got an some mind blowing & improved specs compared to its previous model, the Lenovo A6000 and it's a worth buy at this price range! We are positive that it will give a good competition for the other phones at this price range like Xiaomi Redmi 2, Huawei Honor 4X, Micromax YU Yureka, Android One.
