HTC launches One M9+!

HTC One M9+

HTC launches the HTC One M9+ in India, quoted at Rs.52,500. The phone is going to available form May 3rd! HTC also announced the HTC One E9+ but has not yet revealed the price or availability details as of now.

Specifications:

The HTC One M9+ is the larger variant of the flagship HTC One M9. It features a 5.2 inch Quad-HD (1440x2560 pixels) display and runs on the Android v5.0.2 (Lollipop) with the HTC Sense 7 UI. The HTC One M9+ has got a fingerprint sensor that will also support biometric authentication for AliPay payment system in China. HTC is going to launch the smartphone in three colour options - Gunmetal grey, Amber Gold, and Silver Gold.

Processor & Storage

The HTC One M9+ is powered by a 2.2ghz octa-core MediaTek MT6795T processor bundled with 3GB of RAM. The phone sports an internal storage of 32GB which is further expandable upto 128GB via microSD card.

Camera

The HTC One M9+ sports HTC's duo rear camera setup and an UltraPixel front camera just like the HTC One M8. The primary camera is a 20MP shooter (f/2.2) along with a depth-sensing camera. Above all, HTC dropped the Duo camera in One M9, showing that the overall handset design couldn't accommodate the 20MP sensor along with the depth-sensing lens. Apparently, HTC managed it with the bigger variant.

Battery & Connectivity

The HTC One M9+ is packed with a 2840mAh non-removable battery similar to the One M9.
Connectivity options on the device include some common features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Infrared, DLNA, FM radio, and NFC.

We would love to hear your opinions about the HTC One M9+. See you in the discussion section!
