Android 6.0 (Muffin) expects multi-window support!

Android 6.0 (Muffin) expects multi-window support!

Alike Samsung’s recent smartphones and tablets, the Android v6 (Muffin) may feature the multi-window support that allows to run two applications beside each other. It’s not a pure Android feature yet, Although, one artist recently made a concept video featuring how the multi-window feature might look like in Android 6!

The video was published by Miroslav Vitula, visualizing Android 6.0 Muffin. The official name of the Android v6 is not confirmed yet, but the guess right now is that it will mostly start with the letter "M" to follow "L" in Lollipop.

This video features how the user might navigate through several apps and select one to operate at the top of the screen and the other app runs at the bottom of the screen. This is similar to the way apps are supported in the Samsung devices, while the animations visualized by Vitula look more smoother.
He also visualizes a new quick reply system that’s alike to the iOS 8 and what third party apps already provide on Android. We may not see this feature in the future version of Android as it’s just one artist's visualization but let's hope for it! We would love to hear your opinions about the Android 6! See you in the discussion section!
