Want a Google free Android phone? ZTE's Nubia is here

Nubia Z9 mini

ZTE Nubia is here!

Your mobile phone might be manufactured by any company, but basically it's a Google product. IT comes pre-loaded with Google apps like Youtube, Google Maps, Google search, Chrome, Google that, Google this and a dozen other Google products which drive the revenue of Google's through advertisement and a dozen other things. It's not just Google, when companies like Samsung or Nokia or any body manufactures a phone, they install their UI in it to advertise their own bit of customization, their own offering alongside Google.

Some go all the way in...

But then, there are some companies which are not satisfied with this, they want to go all the way to make the phone completely Google free, CyanogenMod and other ROM's are a good example of this, Xiaomi also tries to do something like that. ZTE, one of China's biggest mobile phone companies and U.S.A.'s third biggest company, is one of them.

Here cometh! The ZTE Nubia series

ZTE's Nubia series doesn't have any Google apps in it. Absolutely none, nothing, zero, zilch! ZTE has just launched the ZTE Z9 Max and ZTE Z9 Mini towards their Google free initiative.

Nubia Z9 Max & Mini

The ZTE Z9 Mini

The ZTE Z9 Mini is an affordable dual nano-sim 4G offering priced at around 15,000 rupees and comes with a 16 MP Sony IMX234 Exmor RS camera! Definitely the best camera for a mobile in that range. It also has a f/2.0 apperture and an 8MP front camera!

The phone also has a 2900 mAh battery which is definitely big for a phone that is Mini.
The phone features a 5.0 inch FHD screen (441 ppi) with Corning Gorilla Glass three protection. It comes loaded with 64-bit Snapdragon 615 (Quad Core 1.5 GHz + Quad Core 1 GHz) and a 2GB RAM and 16GB (128 GB expandable) inbuilt storage to run all these things for you.

The specs are all not it. The phone is also beautifully designed!

The ZTE Z9 Max

The ZTE Z9 Max shares most of it's hardware with it's younger siblings, with a few differences like a 5.5 inch display, Snapdragon 810 processor (Quad Core 2.0 GHz + Quad Core 1.5 GHz), 3GB RAM and is priced around 25,000 Rupees.

ZTE says that they are not going to spend too much on advertising this phone and rely more on word-of-the-mouth publicity. We think this phone is the perfect candidate for that because it has all the features that can make people talk about it.

And of course, the phone come with Android 5.0 out of the box ;)

Are you looking forward to see the ZTE? Tell us what you think about it in the comments.
